![]() However, the menu, which is really quite limited, and understandably so, was disappointing overall. After standing there for a while with literally no one coming to check on us, we decided to sit at the bar which was fine and Chelsea was great as the bartender taking care of us. Then it all kinda came crashing down - we waited to be seated per the sign at the host booth, no one came. a big city, which at first I thought was cool. I walked in and felt like I was in a sophisticated bar in. I was surprised to see it in a strip mall, but decided to try it nontheless. ![]() This was a new-to-me restaurant that I decided to try after visiting the Old Cider Mill. There are so many great happy hours in Glastonbury with great selections that we were surprised at the lack of choices. There was one white wine and one red wine on the happy hour menu, along with a few beers and some mixed drinks. Didn't want to complain to management or make a scene in the bar. I am by far not high maintenance when it comes to food, but this was unacceptible. It takes a lot for me to write a complaint. As a garnish, there was a slice of grilled pineapple, was tasty and a leaf of wilted lettuce That was it! Granted, the small bite was only $5.00 but it was awful. The next round was at least warmer, but again, full of gristle. I asked that they be taken back to the kitchen, as the meat was cold. Of the four small pieces on each skewer, half of them had so much gristle, they were hardly edible. What came out were two small skewers with a teriyaki sauce. I ordered the smoked steak skewers, asking that they be on the rare side. He ordered the pulled pork sliders, which were pretty good. My husband and I went to Happy Hour last night.
